Our driver will pick you up from your hotel with a picnic lunch on the way to a full-day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater. A 4wheel drive vehicle will transport you 2000 feet down the crater, where you will explore the crater before ascending and driving to your lodge on the crater rim.
The crater has grown into a distinct and essential component of Tanzania’s eco-system. The crater is really a caldera that spans 22.5 kilometers and has 600-meter-high rim walls. The views from within and from the rim are spectacular. The crater is home to 30,000 animals and a wide variety of birds, who seldom leave due to the availability of water during the rainy and dry seasons.

Day 2: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for the Serengeti National Park.

The park is well-known for its strong population of various resident animals, notably the “big five,” which are called for the five most valued trophies acquired by hunters: Lion: The Serengeti is said to have the most lions in Africa, owing to the quantity of prey species. This environment is home to about 3,000 lions. African Leopard: these elusive predators are most usually spotted in the Seronera region, but they may be found throughout the park, with a population of roughly 1,000. Elephants from Africa.

Dinner and Overnight Included.

Day 3 & 4: Northern Serengeti

We will spend these two nights at the Northern part of Serengeti for Migration.

As the huge herd settles into the area, river crossings at Kogatende begin every day in August. From August to October, game watching is excellent up here, with river crossings almost expected every day. There is little discernible movement as the herds cross the river back and forth, following the showers and ensuing new grasses. It is not uncommon to witness herds crossing in opposite directions on the same day.

After Morning breakfst we will do a short game drive then later on drive to Kogatende Airstrip to catch a flight.

Simply wonderful from the moment we arrived in Tanzania. Never been to Africa before and tents are not our usual accommodation - but this was an exceptional environment and we felt privileged to be so close to the animals we came to see 24/7
