13 Days Romantic Honeymoon Tour in Tanzania

5/5

Tour Overview

Tanzania is our favorite honeymoon destination. Romantic, exhilarating, luxurious – just tell us what you would like, and we’ll design a honeymoon that is perfect for you. This country offers a fantastic combination of adventure and romance. The game viewing is exceptionally good, and Tanzania offers many small, intimate, and authentic camps and lodges, many of which provide the option to book a private vehicle for game drives. Additionally, you can combine your safari in Tanzania with beach time on Zanzibar! Most of our clients who choose Tanzania for their honeymoon want to start with a safari before spending a few days relaxing on an idyllic beach. However, you may simply spend time on the beach first, followed by a safari if you choose. This trip is a candidate for the vacation of a lifetime, beginning with animal watching in the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti and continuing to the lovely island of Zanzibar! It features honeymooners’ exclusive incentives and tiny extras.

Your Adventures Begins

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Our representative will pick you from the airport and bring to your hotel for short briefing about your next safari.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 8:30 a.m. and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. The majestic baobab trees that dot the terrain, dwarfing the animals that feed underneath them, are known for Tanzania’s third largest National Park. The Tarangire River is the main focus of this park, which is home to some of Africa’s greatest elephant herds. Lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe, and zebra can all be found here.

Dinner and overnight included.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast, we’ll drive down to the Ngorongoro crater, which is known as the “Wonder of the World.” This is the world’s largest caldera, with grassland, forest, and swamp, and a breathtaking setting. A resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals lives in the crater floor’s permanent water.

Many of the reasons why you chose to go on safari in Tanzania can be found here. Here, lions, waterbuck, hippo baboons, black rhinos, leopards, hyenas, jackals, buffalo, warthogs, gazelles, and other animals find refuge. In an area that has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1978, Maasai share the incredible space with animals, including their cattle. Ngorongoro is unique in the world because of its harmony of man and animals

Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
After a delicious breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, where you will journey across the never-ending plain grasslands. The Serengeti is undoubtedly the world’s most stunning wildlife sanctuary. You will go on an afternoon wildlife drive over the endless plains of the Serengeti, where you will have the opportunity to observe large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as a pride of lions lazing in the shade. During the day’s game drive, a picnic lunch will be served. The adventurous day ends with a tasty meal and a nice night’s sleep in your lodge.

Day 5 – 6 : Full Game drive at Serengeti
After a delicious breakfast, on this two days you will go on a full-day game drive across the Serengeti National Park’s central region. For its incredible population of lions and leopards, the iconic Serengeti National Park is the most famous safari destination. The Serengeti’s central region, known as the Seronera area, is one of the park’s greatest animal areas. It includes the Seronera River, which offers a key water source to the region and so attracts wildlife that is typical of the majority of Serengeti species. During the migrations off season, keep an eye out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region.

Day 7 : Serengeti – Zanzibar
After breakfast, go on a game drive to Seronera airstrip, where you can catch a flight to Zanzibar. When you arrive in Zanzibar, meet with one of our representatives and be transferred to a hotel of your choice for a few days in Zanzibar.

Day 8 – 12 : Beach Hotel Zanzibar
Relax and enjoy Zanzibars East Coast around Matemwe Bungalows. One day we’ll head to Mnemba Island, fantastic for snorkeling. From the sailing boat often you can see dolphins.

Day 13 : Departure
After breakfast we will bring you to the airport.

Simply wonderful from the moment we arrived in Tanzania. Never been to Africa before and tents are not our usual accommodation - but this was an exceptional environment and we felt privileged to be so close to the animals we came to see 24/7

We had high hopes/expectations for our trip, and they were thoroughly exceeded! We loved every minute of it, and both camps, although different, were spectacular in their own ways. We hope this is not our last trip to Africa
